Lift Breakdowns
Should your lift breakdown, we offer 24 hour coverage 365 days a year throughout South East England and can usually attend lift breakdowns within a few hours.
There is a 24 hour help line for any lift problem. This help line is manned by our own staff so if you have a question you will still be able to speak to a dedicated member of our team who will try to resolve your lift query or problem.
Lift Installation
We are able to install service lifts such as dumbwaiters and kitchen lifts.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help or advice on what type of lift best meets your requirements. This service is free, and we have our own consultants that can provide you with some recommendations.
Lift Maintenance
Our contracts are simply based on the type of lift, the number of floors and the building the lift is in.
With full annual lift maintenance contracts from as little as £240, whatever your situation and however many lifts you own we will have an inexpensive service contract to suit you.
We expect to cut your lift maintenance costs by at least 20% whilst improving your service.
Although we are able to offer quotations without actually seeing a lift, for risk assessment requirements we would have to inspect your lift before we offer an agreement.
Our lift inspections are free, without obligation and include a full report prepared by a qualified technician giving you a report with emphasis on safety and operational performance.
From this information we will be able to offer a fair priced service agreement or confirm the price that you may have already been quoted.
Within our service contract we can include any type of lifting equipment such as bath hoists, stair lifts, personnel lifts and all sorts of winches.

Lift Modernisation
We can modernise certain aspects of your lift such as control panels and drive units to create a more reliable or improved lift.
Or we can alter any lift to give a more pleasing appearance or even replace the complete lift.

Safety checks
It is now a legal requirement that the owner or manager of an establishment has their lift inspected to prove it is safe by way of various examinations and inspections. The correct certification must also be held.
The Elevator Group are unique in being able to offer inspections and lift testing the ISO Quality Assured standards with added SAFed/LGI endorsements.
Our lift testing services are used regularly by a number of larger lift companies and we issue certification on their behalf.
As well as issuing complete SAFed Examination Forms and Test Certificates we also include a full report on the condition of the lift and a detailed report on how any defects can be economically rectified.
Control Panels for lifts
We manufacture control panels for all types of lifts, whether they are new or old. Our control panels are programmable to suit any application.
The control panels come with the following
- Test controls as standard
- On screen display
- Full indicator and buzzer control
- Fault log
- With or without speed control
Our lift controllers are around 50% less expensive than other lift companies in England, they fit inside existing enclosures and more often than not, because they are reliable and very difficult to change, we re-use the existing shaft switches and the wiring and we guarantee them with the control panel for at least two years.
